Agnes Romper Dress is a dress and romper in one with a wide skirt and a wide and lightly ruffled collar. Ā The romper dress is worked from the bottom up, both flat and in the round, using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. Ā
The inner romper is worked up to the underarms first. Ā Then the skirt is worked from the bottom up before the romper and skirt are knitted together. Ā Next, sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up and then joined with the body on one needle before the yoke is shaped with raglan decreases. Ā The ruffled collar is worked back and forth as well as sideways and is knitted together with the yoke at the final step. Ā Agnes Romper Dress is closed with buttons at the crotch and also at the keyhole opening at back-neck.
